Logan’s first Easter was a great one! Family came to visit. Big Mama, Teresa, Aunt Jean, cousins Erin and Austin all came to visit.
We were up early on Easter morning – this year not for a sunrise service but for our little bunny. He loved his first Easter basket. Some bubbles, a carrot “bat”, and some rubber duckies were all in the basket.
All the family joined us for a great day of worship at Heritage.
Lunch after church was a delicious feast. All the Easter favorites, and a cute baby boy for entertainment.
Logan taught us all his blessing (the Superman prayer). Big Mama and Aunt Jean even joined in the “Amen!”
It was a very fun Easter. A day of true joy, with lots of little joys sprinkled through the whole day!
We took a trip to NC before Easter to see Mimi and Grumpy. So much fun to see Logan with these two.
Logan loves to swing at the park now, so we took advantage of a sunny day and went to a nearby park. Dad was tickled beyond tickled to take his grandson on the swings. And then we discovered the slide. Oh my. Let’s just say Dad can’t wait until he is big enough to actually slide.
We also had to try on the multitude on cute outfits from Mimi. She is a sewing queen! And . . . she made him a bucket. HIs two favorite toys in one: he can stuff things into it and it’s a drum. So fun. We also had to have our first Easter egg hunt. Right in the living room. He found the golden egg, so we were proud.
We loved seeing Uncle B, too! Logan was spoiled rotten by his Uncle B, who taught him a love of rap music. Easter Part one was so much fun.
